The Pyramid Barn purchase agreement has been signed (June 14, 2011)!  Site preparation completed.  Building to start going up 1/23/12.

TRIAL CHAIRPERSONS: Each member club is responsible for reporting their trial results and activity fees within 30 days of the trial to the appropriate chairperson and the secretary/treasurer of FTCI

  

 

The Distinguished Senior Service Award (DSSA) is offered to those members nominated  in writing by their peers and voted on by the Board of Directors at the winter meeting in January.  The qualifications for this award are:

bulletPerson must be 65 years of age
bulletParticipated in trials for 20 or more years
bulletBe a member of a FTCI club
bulletEarn the nomination with effort, good sportsmanship, favorable conduct and general loyalty to the sport of field trialing
 

 

DISTINGUISHED SENIOR SERVICE AWARD

   

RON HAMP

Ron started trialing in 1969.  He ran his first trial at Macomb and placed second. Shortly thereafter he placed his setters to Shooting Dogs of the year in 1978 and 1980.  Ron has trialed setters his entire life.  Ron joined the Piasa P & S Club in 1970 and served as the secretary for several years.  He soon joined the Macoupin County FTC.  Ron has served as President for over 20 years and still retains that office.  He has served on the FTCI Board of Directors on 2 different occasions and is currently serving on the Board.  Ron has judged many weekend trials both horseback and walking.  He has also judged several Championships.  He is always ready to help young and new trailers learn about our sport.  He has been married to Alice for 48 years.  He has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
